Stephen B. Bové, Founder and CEO
Stephen was pre-IPO VP of Product Strategy and Development at Kleiner Perkins-backed Homestore (NASDQ: HOMS), where he helped build one of the few companies ever to challenge and overcome Microsoft in a hotly contested market. Prior to Homestore, Stephen was the initial head of product development and an investor in Kleiner Perkins backed Chemdex (NASDQ: CMDX), the bellwether B2B player in the life-science and health care markets. Both Homestore and Chemdex returned over $1B in profits to their private equity investors. Earlier in his career, Stephen held line and strategic management positions within a variety of large and small enterprises including Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), and The Walt Disney Company. Stephen holds an A.B. in History from Colgate University.

James Home, VP of Product Design
James is a veteran user interface designer with extensive experience addressing interaction design, information architecture, branding and design process-related challenges pertaining to commerce, collaboration, and content management systems. He had the opportunity to establish design direction for a wide variety of products at companies including Critical Path, Chemdex and Electric Minds before founding his own design company in 2000, bringing solutions of outstanding quality to clients like Mitsubishi, Sega.com and The Long Now Foundation.

William Pietri, VP of Engineering
William Pietri has worked in nearly every facet of the technical world, from technical support to systems administration to software engineering to user-interface design. In 1992, he started a company that provided hardware, software, and technical support to some of Sydney's largest magazine publishers, with clients ranging from Australian Police Journal to TV Hits. Upon his return to the US in 1994, he helped Apollo Derivatives, a Chicago-based derivatives trading firm, more than double its size, replacing legacy DOS systems with custom object-oriented software and an ocean-spanning TCP/IP network. Since then he has worked as a freelance developer and consultant, providing software and advice to a variety of organizations, from dot-coms to brick-and-mortar companies to governments.

Brian Slesinsky, Senior Software Engineer
Brian Slesinsky has developed software for a variety of startups including Epicentric, NuvoMedia, and HotWired. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University.

Jim Kingdon, Senior Software Engineer
Jim Kingdon has ten years of experience developing software for companies including Enlighta, Silicon Graphics, VA Linux, and Cygnus. He has a B.A. in Mathematics from Oberlin College.
